This document sets forth the Terms and Conditions governing the use of the Balkland Ltd and Balkland d.o.o. websites and the provision of our travel and tour services. By accessing our websites or engaging in our services, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our websites or services.

Balkland Ltd and Balkland d.o.o. offer curated travel experiences in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the broader Balkans region, and the UK, including:

- • Accommodation & Transfers
- • Multi-Day & One-Day Tours
Booking & Payment
All bookings are handled via a secure third-party platform.
4.1 Multi-Day Tours
- • 40% due upon booking (non-refundable).
- • 30% due 60 days prior to tour start.
- • 30% due 15 days prior to start (online) or in cash upon arrival (pre-agreed).
4.2 One-Day / Half-Day Tours
• 100% due at booking (non-refundable).
4.3 Currency & Gateway
- • EUR, USD, or BAM accepted.
- • Payments processed via encrypted third-party gateways.
- • Exchange rates follow the relevant national bank's daily rate.
4.4 Late Payments
Failure to meet deadlines may cancel the reservation and forfeit amounts paid.
4.5 Travel Protection Waiver
Booking without travel insurance means you accept responsibility for related losses or disruptions.
Personal Data Protection
We collect only essential personal data to deliver our services. Data is stored securely and accessible only to authorized personnel. See our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content on Balkland websites (text, graphics, logos, images) is owned by Balkland Ltd / Balkland d.o.o. and protected by intellectual property laws.
Limitation of Liability
- • Not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages stemming from site or service use.
- • Not liable for failures of third-party suppliers.
- • Not liable for delays/disruptions due to force majeure events.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Kingdom. Jurisdiction: Sarajevo (BiH) and London (UK).
Amendments & Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting.
Entire Agreement & Severability
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in force.
Appendix: Cancellations
Cancellations must be sent in writing (email).

Appendix: Refunds
- • Processed within 14 business days post-trip.
- • 3% processing fee applies.
- • Non-refundable: airfare, third-party services, or services missed due to client's actions.
Appendix: Passports, Visas & Insurance
- • Clients must hold valid travel documents; Balkland is not liable for denied entry.
- • Insurance strongly recommended (cancellations, accidents, medical, baggage).
Appendix: Operations (Accommodation / Transfers / Excursions)
- • Accommodation confirmed on deposit; similar or higher-standard options may be substituted. Early check-in/late check-out may be available for a fee.
- • Transfers per itinerary; Balkland not liable for missed transfers due to delays or negligence.
- • Excursions subject to weather/operations; no refunds for lateness or no-show.
- • One included excursion per overnight city (2+ nights); alternatives provided if needed.
Appendix: Complaints & Responsibility
- • Report issues immediately on-site; file a written complaint within 30 days post-trip.
- • Balkland uses third-party suppliers and is not responsible for losses, injuries, delays, or disruptions caused by them.
- • Service Denial: Balkland may remove/refuse service to participants whose behavior is disruptive or dangerous. Related costs are the client's responsibility; no refunds.
- • Disclaimer: Balkland is not liable for actions/inactions or disputes between customers and third-party local providers.
Appendix: Force Majeure
- • Not liable for disruptions due to natural disasters, wars, pandemics, strikes, or government actions.
- • Credits: if travel is impossible due to Force Majeure, credits valid 12 months may be issued (subject to third-party refunds).
- • Refunds for death/serious illness: request within 10 days of diagnosis and at least 10 days prior to departure.
Appendix: Dispute Resolution & Promotional Release
- • Disputes addressed amicably first; unresolved matters fall under courts in Sarajevo and are governed by Bosnian law.
- • Promotional release: photos/videos taken during tours may be used for marketing unless you opt out in writing at tour start. Submitted reviews/media may be public unless stated otherwise.
Appendix: Accessibility & AI Assistant
- • Travelers needing special assistance must inform Balkland during booking and travel with a capable support person. Staff cannot provide individual physical assistance.
- • AI Assistant: used to enhance the guest experience; informational only and not a substitute for official advice. Balkland is not liable for decisions based on AI-generated content.
