Itinerary (Day Wise)

Depart Sarajevo on a scenic drive to Konjic, home to the elegant 17th-century Old Stone Bridge, a landmark spanning the emerald Neretva River and symbolising centuries of history and resilience.

Continue to Tito’s Nuclear Bunker (D-0), one of the most intriguing Cold War sites in Europe. Hidden deep within the mountain, this once-top-secret facility offers a rare insight into Yugoslavia’s past.

The journey concludes at Boračko Lake, a peaceful alpine retreat surrounded by forested mountains. Enjoy free time to relax, swim in warmer months, or savour traditional Bosnian cuisine at a local lakeside restaurant.

Weather

Conditions can vary between the river canyon and mountain areas. We recommend checking the local forecast 1–2 days before departure and dressing in layers to ensure comfort during both outdoor exploration and time by the lake.

What to Bring

Comfortable walking shoes, sun protection (hat, sunscreen), a light jacket, and swimwear if you plan to enjoy Boračko Lake. A reusable water bottle and personal camera are also recommended.
